Transat Sailing Do You Think That Sailing Is A Sport?

Do you think that sailing is a sport? - transat sailing

I do not want to boating. I refer to the competition of racing, team or fleet. No additional Farr 40, Transat big 52 or trimarans. Do you think that sailing is a sport? Back yourself.

Sailing is truly a sport. Not only the physical skills, but the response planning and knowledge about wind and how the boat. It is a mental and physical activity. It requires concentration and ability to adapt to changing conditions.

Of course it is a sport. He is recognized as a sport. Like any other world sport (football), for example, there are many different levels. Even the car chases. You start small and work upwards. And I tell you, the career of small sunfish can obtain a competitive advantage!

Like any other sport, it can not.

In physical form must be acceptable to meet the requirements of the sail.

You must have knowledge, and do much good for all.

It takes place strategy, or win.

You get the trophy if you win.
Yes, it is a sport that not only are there many people willing to learn or be able to. Not as easy as many think!
